THE STERLING PROMISE FOUNDATION IS A
MISSION-DRIVEN NONPROFIT
Our core mission is to ensure that the brave men and women who serve in the U.S. Special Operations community live long, healthy and fulfilling lives after their service to our great nation.
We accomplish this by providing financial support for blood screenings for colorectal cancer as well as noninvasive body imaging. Our mission also includes increasing awareness about early detection for all cancers through outreach and advocacy.
Established in honor of Staff Sergeant Scott Sterling, the Sterling Promise Foundation exists to carry on Scott’s legacy of selfless service. After a valiant fight with colorectal cancer, Scott’s story became the genesis for our mission to improve health and wellness for veterans.

Scott served his country with honor and distinction in the U.S. Army Special Operations community. His loyalty and commitment to his fellow soldiers continued long after his service. The Sterling Promise Foundation is committed to continuing his promise to support our nation’s soldiers and veterans who have sacrificed so much for our country. Scott’s fierce and relentless fight with colorectal cancer is the genesis for our mission to improve the health and wellness for veterans.

The Sterling Promise has partnered with Prenuvo to offer veterans noninvasive screenings. Prenuvo makes MRI scanning for early detection of cancer, “silent killers” like aneurysms, and other diseases seamless and more widely accessible. Combining cutting-edge quantification and analysis technology with radiation-free and non-invasive full-body scans, Prenuvo’s patient-centric design is optimized to assess the body holistically and in under 60 minutes, compared with the 4-5 hours it would take to achieve this level of insight from conventional MRI scans.

Colon cancer is #1 cancer killer for men under 50 years old, and #2 cancer killer for both men and women at any age.
Its a highly treatable and curable disease if caught early… only way to do that is with screenings.
